Whether you require a modern or a more traditional look, our GPR (fibreglass) up-and-over doors are available in a white or timber finish to suit most property types. GRP doors are also long lasting and require very little maintenance, making them a great choice for your home.

Our timber up-and-over doors are separated into two different ranges. Doors from the ‘solid cedar range’ are constructed from solid red cedar, whilst doors in our ‘Elizabethan range’ are built from a combination of solid red cedar and plywood. The beauty and warmth provided by these doors can only be found in real timber, with the right care and attention our timber up-and-over doors will last for years to come.

Sectional Garage Doors
Sectional doors have been extensively engineered making them the best doors on the market, these doors offer insulated panels varying in thinness up to 42mm. The double skin door panels are evenly filled with a poly urethane foam making it ideal for integral garages and workshops alike that need that all important insulation.

A sectional door is made up of horizontal sections which rise along guide rails that return into the garage, each panel is hinged to the panel below enabling the panels to rise in a much smaller space. Sectional doors are fitted behind the reveal of the garage giving more drive through space for those larger vehicles.

Our sectional doors have been fitted with sturdy weather seal to help keep the elements outside. There are numerous colours and finishes to choose from, including panelled and ribbed styles.

Roller Garage Doors
Roller doors are extremely convenient. They have been developed to be electrically operated, whilst they also offer a space saving design. With innovative engineering, the roller door is spring balanced and has force limiters built into the operating system to ensure safe operation at all times. The roller door is made up of insulated aluminium lathes which vertically lift and roll, enabling the door to roll around an axle, leaving the ceiling space clear for storage or roof and loft access. We can supply and install roller doors in a range of different colours, including those with a foil coating to provide a timber effect.

The elegant smooth surface of the aluminium lathes and the high-quality coating applied to the roller doors allow for easy cleaning both inside and out. The individual lathes are filled with CFC free polyurethane foam to provide good insulation, thus helping to reduce energy costs. The polyurethane foam also helps the door operate quietly.

Side Hinged Doors
Side Hinged doors provide ease of access, allowing homeowners to utilise the entire garage space. The hinged doors open outwards, and each door leaf is the same size. The right-hand door is generally the leading door; however, other options are available on request. For security purposes, the doors are fitted with two shoot bolts, with outside knobs available as an optional extra for additional security. We can also provide inside and outside lever handles for further ease of access.

Steel side hinged doors are generally finished in white from the factory, however, other colour options are available. Timber side hinged doors are supplied with a standard base stain, whilst other stain finishes are also available here at Garage Doors Dorset Ltd. If your wall and floor space is unutilised, side hinged garage doors may be a great choice for you.
